The University campus library provides print and electronic collections that strengthen and support the major educational programs of the institution and general education. A librarian is available to facilitate research and study strategies and to provide quality reference services and online search instruction. The library provides electronic access to the collection catalog, resource databases, and the Internet. The resource databases contain full text articles from thousands of major newspapers, trade journals, academic periodicals, magazines, and international publications. Discipline-related databases furnish valuable industry information useful for course-related projects and job search opportunities as related to each program major.
The intention of the campus-based learning center is to provide learning resources to a diverse student body with varying educational needs, including supplemental instruction opportunities, tutoring, Web-based and other educational software and/or resources, and assessment tools.
