Program Description
The Business Systems Administration program provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary for graduates to acquire entry-level training-related employment as an office administration specialist in a variety of office settings.

Work places include businesses in the public and private sectors, including for profit and not for profit organizations. The specific duties of the business system manager will often vary from office to office due to office size, location, and specialty.
Professional Preparation
Specific program objectives are designed to enable graduates to:
- Be
proficient in the use of a variety of software applications including word
processing, database, spreadsheets, and presentation graphics.
- Perform
various accounting functions in a business.
- Process
payroll and use software to track business performance.
- Produce
business and marketing reports.
- Demonstrate competency in reading, oral and written communication skills and proficiency in mathematics.
